I am reviewing the Our K9 Black Dog No Bark Collar.
This is a collar to help you train your dog not to do random barking. Tide barks like crazy. I swear sometimes he barks just to bark. You’d think since he’s a basset hound he’d just sleep all the time. No, he barks sometimes too. Especially, when one of us leaves, or stands on the porch without him. Then when he’s outside on his lead, he just barks at anything that moves. And he has such a loud bark. We’re still working on training him with this. It does work, but he has been having trouble with arthritis lately so he’s been under the weather. This collar is a static shock collar, so it gives you a warning beep right before a little shock. It is not harmful to your dog, but I think with Tide not feeling so well the shock was upsetting him more. So, I did not get to do a video with him wearing this. But, we’re not giving up on it. Once he’s feeling better we will start the training.
I do believe this is going to work well, its just a matter of adjusting to fit him correctly too. You have to have it on them really tight, and you will do like me and think it is too tight, but it will not work correctly if it is not as tight as it should be, and will shock your pet more, this happened to us when Tide would shake his head. They have 9 different collars to fit from 4 lbs to 100 lbs, just have to figure out what one that you need for your dog. This collar is the black one, each one is a different color depending on what size you need, this one is 15-120 lbs. Yeah, I know what I said before, but I am giving you the stats. I do not like that the manual and everything is online, because it took me a good bit to find it. And I still do not know which of these metal prongs are suited for Tide. The manual for it on the company’s website only shows the one with black prongs and it does not say anything about adjusting them. This could also be some of the problem we had with Tide. It is good to have other than those things.
